I decided to do this course as I write job adverts on a daily basis, but never had the full understanding of how to make them more attractive and interesting, especially for passive candidates. The course has helped me a lot in terms of trying to do things from the reader's point of view, and had plenty of practice and exercises to learn alongside the theory. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs to improve the way they write job adverts (but also LinkedIn content and engagement posts).

Creative writing adds quite a lot of value in a somewhat beige industry. We all make regular placements from our adverts - to the point that if we don't get suitable candidates from an ad, we're extremely disappointed.

A real eye opener. As well as one or two very important things that never really occurred to me after more than a decade in recruitment, the course taught me the importance of structure. It gave me the ability not just to get into the general mindset of a candidate, but specifically the mindset of the people that view my adverts, in the moment that they're reading. I was already doing some things right. I didn't realise that, small margins and changes could such an impact on my advert writing, as well as the big ones. I put an ad out on Linkedin a few days after finishing the course and mentoring. No job boards. Out of the small number of people scrolling, two fairly niche, highly qualified candidates felt compelled to enquire. People that weren't on my radar. I'm really grateful to Mitch and Jackie.

Working through your online course, I felt grateful to have early access to such great content. I've written lots of ads and was already familiar with many of the concepts - like the importance of using bottom up language and AIDA. But exploring it all in more depth was useful and I'll be able to apply that deeper understanding to my work. Like using the insights from the Tegze study to give me a sense of direction when turning features into benefits. I liked the way you referenced studies and data, and used stories to make the concepts more real. The tests between modules were fun. I found them easy but then you'd hope so. User experience was flawless. If I left it and came back the next day I could jump back in with no problem. Very easy to navigate and use. Good mix of text and video, subtitles were appreciated. Thanks again, I really enjoyed the course and my ads have been better since taking it.

When I learned of the Copywriting for Recruiters course, I was beyond delighted as I wasn't a fan of standard job ads. I knew I didn't want to produce those anymore, but I wasn't sure what/how to change and where to start. The information is presented clearly and with humour. The combination of text, short assignments and videos is great. I love how you can complete the course at your own pace. It took me longer than 3 hours to complete the course, but that's mainly because I prefer making notes while following a course, it helps me take it all in. Another plus is that, as a non-English native, I can also say that everything is very comprehensible and the tips stay valid in other languages and countries. Both Jackie and Mitch present several videos and it's clear that they are very passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. It's a joy to watch and translates very well through the computer screen. It makes you even more enthusiastic to complete the course and use the tips in real life.
